Warm Love in a Cold Place

If you dream about an adventurous and unique wedding in Sisimiut, we can make your dreams come true.

Are you dreaming about getting married in the great winter landscape surrounded by high mountains, in the charming little church in Assaqutaq, the abandoned settlement, or do you have your very own dreams of a wedding in Greenland’s vast and beautiful landscape? If so, Sisimiut is the place for you. Here we offer wedding arrangement packages in close cooperation with the local church and municipality.

In Greenland you can choose between a civil marriage and a church marriage. Marriages can be performed in Greenlandic, Danish and English.

Since April 2016 same-sex marriage has become possible in the Greenlandic church.

All marriages outside the church in Sisimiut are
 civil marriages.
